Announcement: Hunger Banquet

Students Helping Integrate Fair Trade (S.H.I.F.T.) will kick-off Hunger and Homelessness week with a hunger banquet, an Oxfam-defined event that simulates the life of an upper-class, middle-class, or impoverished meal determined when participants arrive for dinner, at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11 in a Campus Center banquet room. This event will highlight the differences in the classes in our society and simulate what life in "someone else's shoes" would be like. Anyone wishing to attend should RSVP by Monday, Nov. 8 to Erin Bettendorf.
