This is a panel discussion on the feasibility of exporting democracy. Now that we are three years into the Iraq conflict, this issue is even more pressing. Analysis will be provided on the present situation as well as a broader perspective on how democracies grow and spread in nations. The panelists are Richard Leitch, Mimi Gerstbauer, and Lencho Bati. There will be time for discussion. Students and faculty are urged to come with their ideas on this important issue.
