http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.hllw.gaobot.dk.html Before everyone left for break - we saw a large number of machines infected with Gaobot.DK. It is a worm, and the primary symptom - that we saw - was a deterioration in performance of the machine, and an inability to update the virus defs. It has to be removed with a scan with up to date virus defs and a SAFE MODE scan. A regular scan will not always find it!
