Gacnet-gw Load is HighFebruary 9, 2004All day
Description
Info from Jeff:
The CPU load on gacnet-gw is very high right now because it is dealing with lots of packets that are similar in nature to the blaster related attacks. We have seen around 16,000 packets for port 135 alone in around two minutes. We are looking into how we can block these before they get to gacnet-gw.
What does this mean for users?
They may experience slow or sluggish web browsing.
We are aware of the problem and working on a solution.
