Description
- History of Gustavus " Heritage Room
Bring your Gustavus family to meet our Gustavus family as we share a brief background of our rich history. This workshop will include:
- Supporting your Student Academically " St. Peter Room
This session is designed to help you assist your student and their academic transition from high school to college. Members of the academic advising office will provide information and resources that are available.
- You're on your own now (but I am here if you need me)Marjorie Savage " Linner Lounge
Parents whose children are away at college have a tough tightrope to walk: they naturally want to stay connected, yet they also have to let go. This session will refer to the book You're on your own now (but I am here if you need me) that will help parents identify the boundaries between necessary involvement and respect for their child's independence. - Planning Ahead for a Semester Abroad " Board Room
This session is a great opportunity for parents to begin navigating the study abroad program at Gustavus and to learn about all of the different possibilities.
