Announcement: Driver certification requirements

Reminder of Gustavus Motor Pool Vehicles Certification Requirements: (as per notice from 9/16/14)

Drivers of cars and 7 person minivans will need to be Defensive Driver online certified before keys will be issued. This certification level is valid for 4 years.

Drivers of 8 or 10 person large vans will need to have the online certification as well as behind-the-wheel instruction through the Campus Safety office. The large van certification is valid for 2 years.

Please allow 2 weeks notice for certification requests, plan now for Fall event requirements.

To initiate certification, each driver should fill out the web form at the following link:
