Description
Daughters of Africa is a music-driven history of African American women from slave ship survivors to movie, written for Mixed Blood Theatre by Syl Jones. This production does not pretend to chronicle all of the profound and important moments in the history of African American women. It is an effort to capture the drama, joy, pathos and accomplishments that have long been part of their lives.
