Description

On October 31, 1876, the Old Main building and the campus of the then-St. Ansgar's Academy were formally dedicated with great ceremony and given the name Gustavus Adolphus College. In recognition of that historic day in the life of the college, October 31 (All Saints' Eve and Reformation Day in the Lutheran liturgical calendar) has been officially designated as Founders Day. On this date (or as near to it as possible), we recognize three employees whose endeavors exemplify the longstanding traditions of excellence and service at Gustavus Adolphus College.
