Cover Letter Writing for BiologySeptember 22, 2009 at 6–8 p.m.

All Biology or Biochemistry majors and minors are invited to join Dr. Joel Carlin and other Biology professors as they discuss cover letters. The session is informal, discussion-oriented, and is meant to be practical for those applying to research internships, research positions, graduate or professional schools. Students MUST bring a cover letter to be allowed in the door. The letter does not have to be a recent draft, or even belong to you, although obviously rough drafts from your most current applications will make this a more valuable workshop.
