Description
Ron Green (professor emeritus of education) will talk about the causes of World War I, describe some of the fiercest battles -- including Ypres, Verdun, and the Somme -- and will speculate on the legacies of the war after the Armistice brought an end to the conflict. Also hear popular songs of the World War I era.
