Chapel Break: Ash WednesdayFebruary 14 at 10–10:20 a.m.
Description
Ash Wednesday is a day of prayer and reflection for Christians that begins the church season of Lent. The day emphasizes confession, repentance, and returning to God. You may see people walking around with ashen crosses on their foreheads. Participants are marked with ash as a reminder of human fragility. The shape of the cross is a reminder of God's grace and mercy through it all. There will be Ash Wednesday Pop Up imposition of ashes outside the Cafeteria from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m.
