Mary K. Nelson ('61) will receive the 2006 Service Award. Nelson will be recognized for her development of social action programs in the predominantly African American neighborhood on Chicago's West Side. The day's schedule is: 10 a.m. -- Chapel, with homily by Nelson, and presentation of Service Award by President Jim Peterson 11:30 a.m. -- Lunch and conversation with Nelson in the Heritage Room (no charge, but please pre-register) 5:30 p.m. -- Dinner and dialogue with Nelson in the St. Peter Room (no charge, but please pre-register) 7 p.m. -- Public address and dialogue in the Heritage Room
