Volunteer days are held in the Linnaeus Arboretum throughout the year. This is a time when the community can help out by weeding, trimming, or removing invasive species. These volunteer days are a tremendous help with the maintenance and upkeep of the Arboretum.

If you are interested in volunteering for upcoming volunteer days in the Linnaeus Arboretum, check the Events Calendar for scheduled events, or contact us at arboretum@gustavus.edu . The Arboretum needs your help!

Gustavus Student Organizations: If you are interested in volunteering at the Arboretum, please contact arboretum@gustavus.edu to inquire about events we could use your help with!

Past volunteer events have included:
  • Invasive species pulls
  • Mulching
  • Tulip planting
  • Help with garden beds
  • Trash pick-ups
  • Providing support at our events (Egg Hunt, Fall Fest, Arb Scare, the Mystery Hike, Discover the Outdoors, etc.)
