Since its founding in 1862, Gustavus has been supported and upheld by the families and communities that share a deep belief and unwavering commitment to its mission and vision. As alumni and friends of the College, you have built our tradition of success, our legacy of excellence.

Our Gustavus Acts Strategic Plan outlines innovative opportunities to position the College for continued and elevated success. This plan has captured the imagination of the community and inspired abundant generosity to write a new chapter in the history of the College. Our work is inspired by a quiet confidence as we grow the endowment, provide new scholarships, hire world-class professors, and reshape the campus landscape through ambitious building projects.

The time for “quiet” is over. We now invite the entire Gustavus community to share in this vision, to raise our collective voice as we Show The World. Great institutions thrive by leaning on their strengths, and, at the same time, responding to the needs of their stakeholders and the challenges of their time. Great institutions set bold goals, successfully achieve them, and stay true to their values and principles.
