Please note that you have access to a wide selection of complementary screenings through your medical insurance. A list of preventive care services for adults that are covered under Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota can be found here. If you have been diagnosed with a condition such as high cholesterol, your provider may not bill that test as preventive as it would then be a diagnostic test if the condition is being managed by the physician.
