(Redirected from Macs)
The Macintosh or Mac is a line of personal computers designed, developed, manufactured, and marketed by Apple, Inc..
Gustavus Adolphus College operates with and supports Macintosh computers. The campus is Mac compatible, and Gustavus Technology Services offers assistance to students who may have problems with their Macintosh computers. Nearly half of Gustavus students use Mac computers (as of summer of 2010).
Macintosh computers use primarily Mac OS X as their operating systems. However, some computers around campus (kiosks or labs) have dual booting capabilities where they can run either Windows or Mac OS X. All lab computers have the ability to run Virtual Lab.
