 Class of 2021 - Enjoy these amazing opportunities for fun and class bonding before graduation! Events are free unless specified in the description.


Senior Days Schedule - Tuesday, May 11

Tunnel Tours 
Signing the tunnel mural is traditionally a way to say thank you for making a gift of $5 or more the
Senior Class Legacy Fund. You can make your gift online or in person the day of the mural signing.
Tours will take place on Tuesday, May 11 and Wednesday, May 12 from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. You will
need an appointment for the tour. Sign-up with your roommates or podmates (max. 4) who also made a gift to the Senior Class Legacy Fund so that we can accommodate everyone who is interested.

5-7 p.m.

Outdoor BBQ and Games
Eckman Mall (Rainsite: Lund Arena) 
Enjoy a traditional outdoor BBQ with your classmates on Eckman Mall. This event will also include a DJ, yard games, and raffle drawings! 

Each student will receive a free meal ticket in their P.O. by Monday, May 10 with a 30-minute dining time associated with the ticket color. This will minimize the number of attendees at a time to comply with COVID guidelines. You are welcome to switch tickets to join your friends during the assigned ticket time.

Soul - Outdoor Movie
Borgeson Cabin, Linnaeus Arboretum 
The Oscar-winning movie, Soul, is a story that follows a middle school music teacher named Joe Gardner, who seeks to reunite his soul and his body after they are accidentally separated, just before his big break as a jazz musician.

9 p.m.

Headphone Disco
Eckman Mall (Rainsite: Lund Arena) 
Headphone Disco are the inventors and originators of the ‘silent dance party’ format and have been touring their show around the world. Have fun reliving your first SNL with your classmates at an outside dance party! 

9 p.m.

Virtual Casino Night 
Participants compete in four rounds of casino themed guessing games and trivia. The rounds include Guess the Card, the Wheel Celebrities, and Jackpot Trivia. The best part is that your host is a world-class magician who will perform incredible sleight of hand to reveal the correct answers with a deck of cards using amazing feats of magic! Cash prizes will be sent via Venmo or PayPal.

12 - 4 p.m.

Gustie Senior Golf Tournament
(PRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED) 
This event will take place at North Links Golf Course in North Mankato. All golfers must arrive to the clubhouse by 12 p.m. for a 1p.m. shotgun start! Cost is $10/person with 50 spots available. The deadline to register is 8 a.m. on Monday, May 10th or until all spots are filled, whichever comes first.

Participants must be a member of the class of 2021 and will need to register individually online. Once registered, create teams of two or four. Cost includes a golf cart, two students per cart. (Teams of two will be paired with other teams of two to create a team of four if possible.) Once your team has been established, one person from your team must email the names of all golfers in your party to Lindsay Powers at lpowers@gustavus.edu by the registration deadline.

Each team will golf 9 holes and play best ball, which should take about 2 ½ hours. The event will wrap up by 4 p.m. with prizes awarded. Please contact Garrett Meier garrettmeier@gustavus.edu or Laura Herbst-Johnson lherbstj@gustavus.edu if you have further questions.

GooseChase Scavenger Hunt  
Participate in the Senior GooseChase Scavenger Hunt with your friends (teams of 3-4) by finding all of these iconic spots on campus. All you will need is the GooseChase app and your knowledge of campus to have a chance to win prizes!
The prizes for the chase will be as follows for EACH team member: 1st place: Gustavus Adolphus College diploma frames or a $100 Amazon gift card, 2nd place: $50 gift cards to the Bookmark, and 3rd place: $25 gift cards to Dunkin Donuts

Gustie Senior Market Place Faves
Evelyn Young Dining Room 
The Senior Week Team and Dining Services teamed up to serve all the Senior favorites in the Market Place.

Join the Senior Week Team and your classmates before and after your dinner for Gift Card Bingo! $2,000 in gift cards are up for grabs!

Hypnotist
Lund Arena 
Circle back to your First-Year Orientation with your classmates and the Hypnotist Chris Jones! ‘chrisjones’ has been taking his insane hypnosis show cross the country. Giving the audience an incredibly interactive show, his hypnosis show allows your students to become the stars! ‘chrisjones’ offers a performance unlike any other!

Blessings for Seniors
Christ Chapel 
This is an event led by seniors for seniors on the night before graduation. It is a time to reflect on your experience as a Gustie, hear words of blessing from classmates of different religious and spiritual traditions, be inspired by speaker Ingrid Kubisa '21, enjoy musical performances, and light a candle to remind yourself that you will continue shining your light and making a positive difference in the world.
