Dr. David Sedlak is a Malozemoff Professor in Mineral Engineering, Co-director of Berkeley Water Center, and Director of Institute for Environmental Science and Engineering (IESE). Dr. Sedlak was a speaker at the 2009 Nobel Conference. Dr. Sedlak’s book, Water 4.0: The Past, Present, and Future of the World’s Most Vital Resource, is based on a concept that he developed during conversations with fellow presenters and attendees at the 2009 Nobel Conference.
Dr. Sedlak spoke as the is the Robert E. and Susan T. Rydell Professor in the summer of 2014. He spoke at Irvine Park and Science Museum of Minnesota on the topic of "The Future Challenges of Providing Adequate Water Resources to a Growing Population In a Changing World."
