Progress is our Purpose

Our commitment to this work is an essential part of the institution. From Board of Trustees leadership to Presidential Task Forces to student involvement to the individual actions we take each day—our diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging ecosystem touches all facets of life, learning, and leadership at Gustavus. This is not merely a set of initiatives that are meant to be checked off as being done. It consists of ongoing efforts done with intentionality. We believe continuous progress requires innovation, creativity, and unique perspectives. We’re proud of how far we have come, but we’re even more excited about where we’re going.
