WORKSHOP CHANGE OF VENUE: Preparing to Teach WRITDJanuary 23, 2019 at 12:30–4 p.m.

PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF VENUE AND ADDITION OF FREE LUNCH: Workshop for new faculty members preparing to teach WRIT-D this spring will be held on WED. 1/23 from 1:00-4:00 pm in THE KONFERENSRUM, CAMPUS CENTER. MEET AT 12:30 TO OBTAIN LUNCH TICKET, AND THEN BRING LUNCH WITH YOU TO THE WORKSHOP. Any new instructor preparing to teach WRIT-D for the first time is invited to participate in this "crash course" workshop. Bring syllabus and assignment drafts. Learn about scaffolding prompts, responding to student writing, and evaluating final drafts. Open to NEW tenure-track and non-tenure track faculty only. The workshop is intended for those teaching WRIT-D this spring or fall, but new WRIT-I / WRIT-IL instructors also welcome. The workshop will help ensure that your course meets both "new" proposed WRIT-D and existing WRIT criteria. Please RSVP to Rebecca Fremo by January 20.
