The Diversity Center will be hosting their first Women of Color Summit April 8, 2017 to support young women of color who attend post-secondary education institutions within Minnesota

The Women of Color summit is a result of the Kente Summit for Collegiate Black Men that is planned by the Diversity Educators in the Minnesota Private College Council. The Women of Color Summit is intended to offer women of color the same wonderful opportunities that Black men are afforded at the annual Fall summit-an environment to build community. The summit provide women and transgender women an opportunity to find affinity with other women of color, help them embrace their intersecting identities, and offer an environment for them to discuss current issues of race on campus and nationwide.
