The Gustavus Economic and Management Department will host Dr. Glenn Loury as a 2023 Lindau Resident in Conservative Thought in March 2023.

During his visit, he will provide a public lecture:
“Why Does Racial Inequality Persist”
Wednesday, March 29 - 7 p.m.
Wallenberg Auditorium, Nobel Hall of Science

The lecture is free and open to the public. It will be recorded and posted on the website following the event.

An academic economist, Dr. Glenn Loury is the Merton P. Stoltz Professor of the Social Sciences and professor of economics at Brown University.

A prominent social critic and public intellectual writing mainly on the themes of racial inequality and social policy, Glenn has published more than 200 essays and reviews in journals of public affairs in the US and abroad.
