Oliver Wigmore, Geography Department at Ohio State University, is pioneering the use of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) to document environmental change in high-elevation Andean watersheds. He will demonstrate the UAV he has constructed for this technically-challenging research task. (The Geography Department hopes to replicate it for our use as a research resource here at Gustavus.)
