Description

They've been carrying their homes on their backs since the time of the dinosaurs but, chances are, there's a lot you don't know about these incredible reptiles. Turtles are some of the most unique creatures on the planet, and some of them need our help. We'll join MN DNR Nongame Wildlife Specialist and "turtle whisperer eLaurinda Brown, to learn about turtle identification, diversity, habitat, conservation, research, and more. We may even have a live turtle on hand if possible. Great program for all ages, but ideal for adults and kids 7 and up.

Registration required by calling the program hotline at 507-933-6184 no later than Fri., June 21, 2013. Free for members. Free-will donation asked of non-members.

Located at the Linnaeus Arboretum Interpretive Center, Gustavus Adolphus. Event time: 10:00A.M. to 11:30 A.M.
