Learn more about the Truman Scholarship and how to apply! The Truman Scholarship is a $30,000 graduate school scholarship that students can apply for as juniors - so this event is open to current freshmen and sophomores. The Foundation is looking for students who want to work to improve the ways government agencies, nonprofit organizations, or educational institutions serve the public. There have been Truman Scholars from nearly all majors and they specifically support students working on master's degrees, a doctorate, or a professional degree such as law.
