Description
A healthy tree is a valuable asset. Some timely pruning of young trees can go a long way to ensuring a healthy mature tree, and this is a great time of year to prune. The Linnaeus Arboretum is hosting an educational program on the basic "rules of thumb eof effective tree pruning. Learn the basic tools and strategies, then put them to practice on a few specimens in the arboretum. This program is free to all and will begin at the Linnaeus Arboretum Interpretive Center. Instructor: Scott Moeller, naturalist. Call 933-6181 for more information.
