Thrivent Financial for Lutherans: Social Entrepreneurial Case CompetitionFebruary 11, 2010 at 6:30–7:30 p.m.

The purpose of the competition will be to explore the arena of sustainable, long-term solutions to pressing social needs. The competition offers a chance to examine, analyze, and present recommendations on the topic of microfinance.

The competition will be taking place between Feb. 11 - Apr. 14. On Thursday, Febr. 11th at 6:30pm in Confer 127 Thrivent Financial will be hosting a information meeting to inform students more about the specifics of the competition. The top team from each college will be invited to the Thrivent Headquarters in Minneapolis, MN for networking opportunities and to present their final recommendation. Thrivent will make a donation on behalf of the winning team to a charity of their choice AND Thrivent has also mentioned the possibility of internship or fellowship opportunities in the social entrepreneurial field.
