Announcement: Theodore Conrad Award

Through the generosity of an anonymous donor, the College has established the Doctor Theodore E. Conrad Faculty/Staff Achievement Award to recognize an outstanding faculty or staff member for his or her strong interest in overall student growth, education and unity. As stipulated by the donor, award recipients go beyond occupational requirements through guidance, leadership and personal interest to enhance students' experiences at Gustavus. In identifying suitable award recipients, the campus selection committee will consider: - direct student contact and role modeling - advocacy for students and student issues - an understanding of how personal circumstances affect learning - a commitment to students' well-being - an appreciation for students' uniqueness Award recipients will receive a plaque and the opportunity to designate an honorarium to a Gustavus student organization or student activity. Nomination forms are available in the Dean of Students and Provost's Offices and should be completed and returned to the Dean of Students Office by March 24, 2008.
