Description
Chad Olinger ('85) will give a non-technical, public talk on how physics is applied to various arms control problems, including nuclear materials verification. Olinger is group leader of the Safeguard Systems section of Los Alamos National Laboratory. He received the Alumni First Decade Award from Gustavus in 1995 and his doctorate in physics from Washington University in St. Louis. Refreshments will be served.
