November is Native American Heritage Month, Building Bridges and Crossroad's Cultural Peer Educators (CPE) Committee will be collaborating to bring a Speaker, Gwen Westerman to talk about Thanksgiving from a Native American lens. Gwen Westerman, Ph.D, is an English Faculty at Minnesota State University (Mankato). This event is open to the public. Snacks will be provided, please come and learn about an issue that many do not question, What does Thanksgiving mean to the Native American people? What would Thanksgiving be without Indians?
