"What's Going "Write" With Our Students: Recognizing and Celebrating Excellent Writing"

Join Writing Center director Becky Fremo on Tuesday, April 26 for an opportunity to celebrate students' accomplishments in WRITI and WRITD courses. While the data from the first phase of the Writing Program's WRITD assessment project has not yet been analyzed fully, those of us who participated as readers noticed a clear trend: a great deal of excellent work is being produced by our students in WRITD courses. Bring a copy of an excellent piece of student work from your own files, and be prepared to share excerpts with your table mates. We'll also discuss ways to celebrate and share student writing on campus. Program runs at 11:30 and again at 12:30. Free lunch at Three Crowns buffet, then meet in the Heritage Room.
