Join us on Friday, February 17 for a Teachers Talking - DEI as a Foundation of Pedagogy. In the 2021-22 academic year, we presented these DEIB sessions that relayed current information about Gustavus students' access/adaptation needs, encouraged creative implementation of access requests into your work as educators, and then followed up to hear how things went and to troubleshoot any challenges. This year, we're similarly prepared to share current Gustavus student needs and -- bonus! -- will have members of DEIB Teaching Circles here to share the work they have done in their own, directed and intentional DEIB pedagogical practices. And, like all Teachers Talkings, we'll look forward to hearing from all of YOU regarding the ways you're making access and inclusion the bases of your pedagogies. Program is from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Free lunch (Marketplace coupons), then meet in the St Peter Room.
