Course Makeovers! Are you planning to design a new course, redesigning an existing one, or adapting a course that someone else has taught in the past? Would you like to, but the task seems overwhelming? It doesn't have to be (really!). Join us for a brief introduction to a manageable approach to course design, using a tool designed by SERC to get your new or existing course on-track. Although originally designed for instruction in the sciences, SERC has adapted the course design tool to be applicable to any discipline. Come with a blank slate or an existing syllabus and we'll talk about tractable approaches to course (re)design. Presenter: Julie Bartley. Program at 11:30 am and 12:30 pm.
