Topic: Teaching Texts and Subjects that Trigger Trauma for Students

Join us for Teachers Talking on Thursday, November 7th. Staff from the Counseling Office will explore the triggering of trauma responses in the classroom and will identify strategies to support students experiencing such responses. Discussion will focus on how faculty can best provide this support while continuing to address course content. Co-sponsored with the Provost's Office. Program runs at 11:30 am and again at 12:30 pm. Grab a free lunch at the Three Crowns Buffet, then meet in the St Peter Room.
