The New Normal. What does that even mean? This semester, we will be exploring how we find God when everything feels like it's falling apart.
This week we welcome guest speaker, Jayme Kokkonen. Jayme recently completed a year of service with Young Adults in Global Mission in Madagascar. The ELCA Young Adults in Global Mission program invites young adults ages 21-29 into a transformative, year-long journey in international service. As they offer themselves in service, participants are shaped by the witness of our global neighbors. They share in the journeys of companion churches and organizations in one of ten countries around the world. Participants serve in the spirit of accompaniment, walking alongside global companions in a manner that practices mutuality, interdependence and solidarity.
Come to worship, come to hear the simultaneously challenging and comforting gospel, and, of course, come for community.
