Description
The wars in Sudan have not just been in Darfur, but North verses South, and East verses West. Gretchen King will speak about the unending conflict in Sudan. The focus will not be on Darfur, but instead on Western Sudan.
Since gaining independence in 1956, Sudan has spent all but about 10 years in internal armed conflict.
Sudan has been in civil war 13 of the past 17 decades, making in the most war torn country in history.
This event is part of Awareness Week.
