Description

Artwork that was scheduled to be up from 11/4/13-11/30/13 has been taken down early due to the number of thefts around campus. The installation, which were screen printed images of a young girl holding a bomb with sayings such as 'the most courageous act is to think for yourself out loud' have been taken from the library, Johnson family courtyard, music building and the outside display billboard. This artwork was done by a Gustavus student who invested their own time and money into the production of these pieces as well as going through a rigorous process of having them approved to be on display. Around two months were spent developing and creating the artwork only to have it get torn down and stolen.

If you have seen one of these pieces in a residential hall or elsewhere around campus please notify Campus Safety. If you were one of the individuals who took the artwork please do the right thing and give it back to the artist who has worked so hard to create them. You can returning it through the PO's in order to remain anonymous, box number 6989.
