The St Olaf Latin Play (now in its 30th year) comes to Gustavus as part of a statewide tour. Come and enjoy the humor of the Roman comedy playwright Plautus, who inspired A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum. Music, classic jokes and lots of audience participation in this hilarious adaptation of Plautus' Miles Gloriosus (aka The Braggart Soldier). Plautus' Miles Gloriosus ("The Braggart Soldier e, a musical comedy featuring a silly soldier, a hungry parasite, a lovesick youth, a helpful neighbor, clever ladies, ridiculous slaves, singing hams, and a pig on the roof. No knowledge of Latin required.
