Feeling Stressed? Feeling a little burned out? Then "Chill Out" on Halloween, Oct. 31, at the Second Annual Gustie Chill Out and Wellness Fair in the Campus Center Banquet Rooms B & C from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Second Annual Gustie Chill Out is a campus-wide event for students, faculty, and staff intended to promote wellness, stress management, education, and health in our campus community. Live piano music, free chair massages, yoga, confidential screening for anxiety, depression, and ptsd. Chill Out participants include: Gustavus Counseling Center, Health Center, Diversity Center, Chaplain's Office, Nursing Students, Greens, Greeks, Summit Challenge, Human Performance Lab, BookMark, and Health and Exercise Science students. Off-campus participants include: Sun Moon Yoga Studio, Counseling Services of Southern Minnesota, Sioux Trails Mental Health Service, Falun Gong, Reiki practitioners, acupuncturists, healing touch practitioners, and chiropractors. Please plan on Chilling Out all week with a labyrinth Walk on Tuesday, Oct. 29 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. in Alumni Hall; and a panel presentation on Eastern and Western approaches to medicine, spirituality, and wellness with Dr. Bill Shores, Dr. Mohammed Soliaman from the St. Peter Clinic, and Jane Walgenbach, R.N. and Chair of the Gustavus Nursing Department from 7-8:30 p.m. in Alumni Hall on Wednesday, Oct. 30.
