In addition to being a section leader in the Gustavus Wind Orchestra, she enjoys singing with the treble choir, The Lucia Singers, and has performed with Gustavus Symphony Orchestra and Gustavus Jazz Ensemble on an international tour to Malaysia and Singapore. This past January, she toured with GWO to Spain and France as a senior soloist. Her formal music training includes saxophone and piano, and shehas extensive concert experience in vocal and instrumental music. She is employed as the manager of Olin Observatory and is on the set building team in the theater department scene shop. She is also the treasurer of the Womxnin Physics club. After her ninth semester, Rose hopes to get a physics or engineering job at NASA or another facility and, of course, to find every opportunity to continue playing music.
