Research in the MCS DepartmentSeptember 12, 2000 at 3:30–4:20 p.m.

At least five members of the MCS department, representing both Mathematics and Computer Science, will give brief overviews of the research topics they are working on. These are intended to be understandable by students. Where the researchers see particular opportunities for students to get involved, they will point these opportunities out. Whether or not you are interested in student/faculty collaborative research, this seminar should also be your calendar just to see what is going on in our department. Refreshments will be served.
