Description
Dr. Kari Glavin from Norway and Doreen Leavitt, RN, PHN from Barrow, Alaska, will present the state of public health in their regions and the availability of resources to address the health care needs of their area. Dr. Glavin is a renowned international organizer of nurses interested in global health issues. Ms. Leavitt is the Director of the North Slope Borough in Barrow, Alaska.
Both women will be on campus all day Oct. 12 and are available for participation in classes.
