The Department of Psychological Science welcomes Laureen Peltier, who presents and writes on the topic of PTSD she experienced as a result of childhood sexual abuse by her father. At the age of 38 she entered therapy, choosing an integrative psychiatric model to heal. Her memoir, Hungry for Touch, describes her personal road to recovery.
