Description

"The People Behind the Science Lecture Series" through the Biology Department has invited seven speakers to give seminars about their research specialties and career paths throughout J-term, and we invite you to attend! This series is designed to show the diversity of early- and late-stage STEM careers in biology and highlight the real and relatable people that are behind the science.

Our final seminar speaker will be Dr. Scott Dee, who is the Director of Applied Research at Pipestone Veterinary Services. His talk is entitled "The risk of feed as a vehicle for transport and transmission of viruses of veterinary significance: What do we know and what can we do?" and will take place VIRTUALLY over GOOGLE MEETS on January 24th from 11 am to 12 pm: meet.google.com/wxg-kxxe-twx
