Description

"The People Behind the Science Lecture Series" through the Biology Department has invited seven speakers to give seminars about their research specialties and career paths throughout J-term, and we invite you to attend! This series is designed to show the diversity of early- and late-stage STEM careers in biology and highlight the real and relatable people that are behind the science!

Our next speaker will be Anthony Massaro, who is a Gustavus alumnus and Ph.D. candidate at the University of Minnesota. He will be giving a seminar on reproductive strategies and aggression in male chimpanzees. His talk will take place from 11 am to 12 pm CT on Tuesday, January 10 in Nobel Hall, Room 2220.

Our next speaker will be Dr. Leslie Brandt, who will be giving a seminar on urban and rural forest adaptations to climate change on Friday January 13 from 11 am to 12 pm in person in NH 2220.
