Announcement: Peace Studies Awards Information and Celebration

It's time for the annual peace studies awards for 2011-2012.

On Monday March 21 from 5:30-6:15 we will have an information night about the awards and celebration of the awardees from last year (Joelle Paulson, Kareen Getfield, and Annabel Landaverde)
In the Board Room. (see attached poster)

Applications are due April 15 (attached)

Awards range from $250-$1000 and are for expenses incurred while doing a study program related to Peace Studies (a course/program here in the US or abroad) OR for expenses incurred for a peace building activity that you are engaged in, for example, students in the past have worked with a domestic abuse shelter in Mankato or created a diversity newsletter here on campus. Generally not awarded to seniors; it is expected that you will return to campus after the period of the award.
