Peace in Colombia PresentationNovember 15, 2004 at 4:30–6 p.m.

Martin Gafaro, Xaverian University in Bogota, will give a presentation on the Colombian civil war and current efforts to provide refuge and hope for the millions of Colombians who have been displaced by five decades of ongoing violence. Gafaro will describe the peace-building work of the Peace Sanctuary Churches in Colombia and discuss the Sal y Luz ("Salt and Light") partnership, which partners communities in the Upper Midwest with Colombian church communities.
