Description

The 23rd annual GACAC Convention will be held on Saturday, Apr. 17. The theme for the day is "Growing Healthier Congregations." Pat Taylor Ellison of the Church Innovations Institute, St. Paul, will give the keynote address, "Building Agreement and Strategies for Spiritual Discernment in Community." During the day, she will lead us through discussion and exercises in a tested process for dealing with conflict -- a technique that can be used in any faith-based community, whether in the congregation or at home. Rev. Stan Olson of ELCA Churchwide will present the homily during morning worship. The annual business meeting with Trustee and Association elections will be held.

8:30 a.m. Registration and Coffee

9:30 a.m. Worship (Christ Chapel)

10:10 a.m. Welcome and GACAC Business meeting

11:00 a.m. Keynote address: "Building Agreement and Strategies for Spiritual Discernment in Community" by Dr. Pat Taylor Ellison (Christ Chapel)

12:00 p.m. Luncheon (RSVP for invited delegates and pastors of the GACAC, due by April 7)
