Paradigm: A Transcultural Approach to Improving Healthcare for Somali Women

Guest Speakers, Mariam Mohamed and Mona Antilla Carloni have been working on a pilot project designed specifically for Somali women, which focuses on healthcare. Their presentation will cover the critical nature of health and healthcare facing recent immigrants and refugees from East Africa in Minnesota, as well as practical ideas on applying diversity in our daily life and in our approach to healthcare.
