Description
Gustavus Connections in Santa Fe

Gustavus philosophy professor, Doug Huff, has written a new play entitled, Ophelia. The world premier of Ophelia will take place at THEATERWORK Studio in Santa Fe. Ophelia is a powerful play which brings together the characters of Shakespeare's Hamlet in an astonishing retelling as a love story. Ophelia and Hamlet dream of a new age that will begin when they ascend to the throne of Denmark. Their youthful love is torn apart by the dark forces which are unleashed within the walls of Elsinore Castle. Ophelia is played by Gustavus graduate, Angela Janda '04.

Ophelia will be showing from November 5-21 at THEATERWORK Studio, 1336 Rufina Circle in Santa Fe. Show times are Wednesday -- Saturday at 8:00 p.m. and Sunday Matinee at 2:00 p.m. For more information on tickets contact THEATERWORK at 505/471-1799, e-mail: thwork@theaterwork.org or visit the website: www.theaterwork.org.
